THE EFNIKS COVER STORY FOR SEPTEMBER
Dr Angela Davis said we must not simply be "not racist", but we have to be "anti-racist". Ta-Nehisi Coates wrote that racism isn't just a simplistic hatred, but more often a sympathy for some and a skepticism for others. We are not talking about the KKK, Nazis, and hate groups. It's those folks without 88s, Klan runes, and Pepe memes. We're speaking of folks who say they are not racist, who say they are fair and decent, say they are woke, say they are allies: do they understand that white supremacy is a truth of America beyond a hate group membership card?
